They are probably both introverted. I actually was talking to my friend the next night about something else…he said he doesn’t even hang out with most of his social groups anymore because there is too much “drama” in them. This after one of the girls related a story of how her (former) best friend started tearing her out because she was dating her ex-boyfriend or some such like that.

He doesn’t hang out with girls anymore. His social groups are almost entirely guy dominated. Soft-version of MGHOW, at least right now…especially after, as he put it, he got friend-zoned all the time in college.

Of course, none of that changes that, he will never find a girl, if he doesn’t talk to them.

Maybe he should try online dating then. Most of my husband’s introverted sick of dating game found someone there. I know there is a lot of filtering for attention whores and the like but is less taxing on the introverts energy and the rejection is faster but also less painful and socially risky, YMMV.

@Jason

“His only chance would be to find a girl 1-2 SMV points below him, but he clearly doesn’t want that (judged by the kind of girls he is seeking at the college bars), or pray to find a needle in a haystack.”

I doubt the world is as bifurcated into losers who can’t meet women and players as you seem to believe it is.

I wanted to be friend-zoned in college.

Did that ever work for me?
